ANKARA, TURKEY (FOX NEWS) – Turkish politicians throw punches and kick at each other during a debate in Ankara on Saturday (1/11).
Parliament’s justice commission was gathering to discuss a draft bill designed to give it more say over the judiciary when the scuffles broke out.
The debate comes amid intense criticism over the way the ruling party handled a corruption scandal.
One lawmaker actually jumped up on a table and kicked at colleagues.
Others wrestled and punched each other.
A witness reported seeing folders, plastic water bottles, and even an i-Pad flying through the air.
