(KTVI) – There salting of the roads and highways has helped, but there’s still some trouble. Overnight accidents sent at least two people to the hospital.
A car was totaled on the Riverview eastbound ramp at Interstate 270. At least one person was taken to a hospital.
Around 1:30 a.m. an SUV slid off the road on St. Charles Rock Road near Normandy High School. Authorities say the driver hit a light pole and then slammed into a fence. At least one person was taken to the hospital.
Authorities say roads are expected to be much better than Tuesday, but drivers should continue to be cautious and watch out for snow plows and other drivers, as well as black ice on road surfaces.
