Santa visits Metro East children

EAST ST. LOUIS, IL. (KTVI) - Santa and Mrs. Claus made a special stop Wednesday in the Metro East to make the holidays memorable for a special group of kids.

The Casino Queen hosted its 20th annual Toyland that benefits more than two-thousand young East St. Louis children.

The children got to meet with Santa and Mrs. Claus, the elves and Fredbird.

Afterwards, each child was given a holiday gift bag filled with 13 presents, including winter gloves, warm knit caps and socks.
