Great Plains ranchers trying to recover after losing 30,000 cattle

SOUTH DAKOTA (KTVI) – Just over two months ago an early season blizzard hit the Great Plains states of South Dakota, and Wyoming, that left ranchers with over 30,000 cattle dead. The cattle froze to death the storm, caught in 20 foot snow drifts, entombed in ice on slopes and valleys of the prairie.
