MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO. (KPLR) - Crews are preparing for a long and cold night of repairs on a broken sewer main in Maryland Heights.

According to Lance LeComb of the Metropolitan Sewer District, the 42-inch main broke near an MSD pumping station on Creve Coeur Mill Road.  In a statement, the pointed out the break was just outside the south end of Creve Coeur Park.  He confirmed that until crews plugged the hole, the main was leaking sewage.
