Berkeley family burned out of home

BERKELEY, MO. (KPLR) - A fire in Berkeley leaves a family homeless. Firefighters were called after flames broke out in a home, in the 8300 block of Harold around 11 am, Sunday morning.

Upon arrival, the fire had spread to the house next door.

Crews worked quickly to put it out.

The first house suffered smoke and water damage.

The Red Cross is helping the family find shelter.

No injuries are reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
