Why do drivers find it hard to drive in the rain?

(KPLR) – When it rains, some people forget how to drive.  Here's JB with, “The Way It Oughta Be”.

I had a friend ask me why so many drivers around here seem to struggle with driving in the rain.

We've seen some big slow downs this week and a number of accidents because of wet roads.

The only answer I have is that driving habits reflect our political beliefs.  We have the extremes controlling our traffic patterns.

There are the drivers who see no need to slow down.  Then there's the other extreme.  Some drivers go so slow they are actually creating a driving hazard.

I wish our driving habits and our politics could change.  We need more people in the middle of the road.
