Brew In The Lou
(KPLR) – There’s an event Saturday where you can sample St. Louis products and help the community, too. Dan Garland from Garland Wines talked with Christine Buck about Brew in the Lou, which will showcase St. Louis’ best beer, wine, coffee and good eats.
The event benefits the Lutheran Elementary School Association (LESA).
More than 35 Vendors will be on-site sampling their products, including Anheuser-Busch In-Bev, Double G Brands, Garland Wines, Granite City Brewery, Hautly Cheese, Kaldi`s Coffee, Kenrick`s Meat & Catering, Morgan Street Brewery, Excel Brewing, Schlafly Beer, The Civil Life, PRP Wine International, Prairie Farms, St. James Winery and many more.
Proceeds from this event will benefit LESA and the 8,200 students and 400 faculty members in 30 Lutheran elementary and four high schools across the St. Louis metropolitan area through tuition assistance, student services and professional development.
Every dollar raised will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Lutheran Foundation of St. Louis and an anonymous donor.
Wristbands are $45 and include tastings for beer, wine and coffee, along with a commemorative glass.
