Changing speed limit signs on I-270 going bye-bye
(KPLR) – When those advisory speed limit signs went up along I-270, I took my chair to the highway to see what drivers thought.
They didn’t like it. Some said it was confusing. Some said it was a waste of money.
Well, MoDOT has determined it’s time for the advisory speed limits to go.
The signs will now tell drivers how fast traffic is moving ahead of them.
Police told MoDOT advisory speed limitsand real speed limits can’t co-exist without confusing drivers.
I don’t know why they couldn’t figure that out before they put up the signs but at least they’re willing to admit a mistake.
