KANSAS CITY, MO. (KPLR) – Roaring fans helped make Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium the loudest in the NFL, as Chiefs fans broke the world record for an outdoor stadium in their 24-7 win over the raiders on Sunday.

Fans reached a deafening 137-point-5 decibels in the closing minutes of the game.

The noise level is equivalent to a jet engine at 100 feet.

A Guinness World Records official says that beat the 136-point-6 record set by Seahawks fans earlier this month.

The Chiefs organization paid $7,500 to fly a Guinness official to Arrowhead to document the record.
