Lane closures planned on Martin Luther King Bridge
EAST ST. LOUIS, IL (KTVI) - Beginning Monday, lane closures on the Martin Luther King Bridge could cause some headaches for commuters.
If you’re heading from Illinois to Missouri, you won’t be able to take the MLK beginning at 9 a.m. That’s because workers have to document bridge conditions in preparation for a construction project to rehabilitate the bridge.
So if you plan to travel, here’s what you need to know:Weather permitting, Monday and Tuesday, westbound lanes of the bridge will be closed from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Later this week, from Wednesday until Friday, one eastbound lane will be closed from 6:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.
