ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A standoff in north St. Louis ended peacefully Monday after a police negotiator talked the man out.

Police say a man went to a home in the 1000 block of Garth, where some relatives live, and later got into an argument. He fired a shot during the altercation, and the relatives left the home and called police. The man then refused to leave the home.

The SWAT team arrived and a negotiator was able to contact the man.

Police are on the scene and a negotiator is trying to speak with the man.

There was no one else in the home with the man.

No one was hurt and the man left the home peacefully after about four hours.

And the reason behind the barricaded is what now didn’t catch that part? If it’s because the Cardinals lost, I’m upset too but nothing shopping won’t fix.
