Jefferson County resident tests positive for West Nile Virus
(KPLR)– The Jefferson County Health Department has confirmed that a county resident has tested positive for the West Nile Virus.
Eleven collections of adult Culex mosquitoes from the county have tested positive for the virus so far this year.
Mosquito control is due to be ceased with the onset of cooler weather.
