MOLINE ACRES, MO. (KPLR) - Eddie Mae Barnes is devastated, she just found out that her daughter 31-year-old Shrelia Barnes was murdered. Barnes says she's lost three out of five children to violence in the last 15 years.

"They stabbed her to death why did you do that. I need justice for my daughter this is the third time I have to go through this I'm tired whoever did it please come forward today." said Barnes

The 31 -year- old was stabbed multiple times near Duke and Chambers in Moline Acres at 3 am Sunday morning. Family and friends say the mother of four had a kind heart and would help anyone in need.

According to St. Louis County Police she was alive when she was dropped off by an unknown person at Christian Hospital but later died. Now the family is in desperate need of answers.

"She meant the world to everybody she was a beautiful child.... and she's really going to be missed." Barnes said

Friend and neighbor Lutisha Heart says Barnes was a healthcare worker who took care of her family on a regular basis. She was also known as a local hairdresser. Shrelia was last seen on Sunday leaving home with two friends.

"She was a very good healthcare worker I can't believe it I talked to her at 12 last night the last time I talked to her.' said Heart

At this point investigators don't have any suspects and still looking for leads. They're interested in talking to the person who dropped Barnes off at the hospital.
