Watch Budweiser’s rare 9/11 Superbowl commercial

(KTVI) – Superbowl XXVI fans got a somber treat during a commercial break in February 2002.  Budweiser ran a one minute commercial featuring the Clydesdale horses lowering their heads to the New York skyline to honor victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Budweiser’s parent company published a release about the commercial.  the said the beer company wanted to respectfully honor those affected by the events of September 11, 2001.  They said they had no plans to air the commercial again.

Anheuser Busch did air the commercial one more time. The ad ran on September, 11 2011; the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
