Urban crime summit coming to St. Louis & Kansas City
ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) - An urban crime summit is coming to St. Louis later this month to discuss ways to cut down on high crime. Attorney General Chris Koster announced the event which will be held in St. Louis and Kansas City. He wants participants to discuss meaningful responses to the problem.
The summit will be September 16 and 17 at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. The summit will then come to Saint Louis University School of Law on the 18th and 19th.
New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly will open the summit.
