Second motorcyclist killed in traffic accident Saturday

ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – A second motorcyclist has been killed this Labor Day holiday weekend on an area road. The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. in south St. Louis, at January and Elizabeth.

According to the St. Louis police, the motorcyclist drove by an unmarked police vehicle, knocking off the driver’s side mirror and was thrown from his bike.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Accident reconstruction is on the scene, investigating the accident.
