(KPLR) – He was a part of the “Greatest Show on Turf” and his life may now be coming to the big screen.

According to  the Examiner.com, 20th Century Fox announced it has acquired the rights to develop a movie based on the life of former St. Louis Rams quarterback Kurt Warner.

It’s no surprise Warner’s “rags-to-riches” story would end up on the big screen.

Warner was working in a grocery store when he tried out for the NFL.  Warner lead the St. Louis Rams to a Super Bowl win in 2000.  Warner is considered to be the best undrafted player ever.

The film will be produced by Temple Hill and will include details from his autobiography “All Things Possible: My Story of Faith, Football and the Miracle Season”.
