Fast food workers protest; ask for higher wages

protest2(KTVI) – Some St. Louis area fast food workers walked off the job Monday in a continuing effort to get higher wages.

At least 100 workers from showed up at the McDonalds on South Broadway to protest what they call unfair wages.  The walk-off happened in six other cities as well.

They’re demanding a pay increase, up to $15 an hour, but the right to unionize.  Workers walked off the job back in May over the same issues.
