FENTON, M (KPLR) – Did you know volunteering is good for your health? New research shows older adults who volunteer at least 200 hours a year show a decrease in hypertension or high blood pressure by a significant amount.

Dr. Stephanie Dettlebach is a family physician at SSM St. Clare Health Center. She discussed the positive health benefits of volunteering with Christine Buck.
