Maplewood Police Looking For Bank Robbery Suspect

5-6-13_Image_-7_Maplewood_-_MO-DILMAPLEWOOD, MO (KTVI) – Police in Maplewood are looking for bank robbery suspect who walked into a PNC Bank and got away with an unknown amount of money.

It happened Monday at the PNC Bank branch in the 2200 block of Big Bend.  Authorities say the suspect walked in the bank and handed the teller a note. He did not show a weapon but implied that he had one.

The suspect left the bank on foot with an unknown amount of money.  He is described as a white male, 5’8″ to 5’10” in his late twenties or early thirties.

Police say the suspect was wearing a ball cap, a dress shirt and tie, and appeared to be wearing a fake beard. Anyone with information is asked to call the Maplewood Police Department at 314-646-3621 or 314-781-3733.
