St. Louis Police Sergeant Lucinda Miller Dies

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) –  St. Louis police say one of their own has passed away.

According to the department’s Facebook page, Sgt. Lucinda Miller passed away after being critically injured in an off-duty accident.

Sgt. Miller joined the police department in 1996 and was promoted to sergeant in June of 2010.

She also received an Award of Excellence in 2011.  Funeral arrangements have not yet been released.

Miller is survived by a domestic partner, a sister and five brothers.
