NEW ZEALAND, UK (KTVI) – A picture of a baby, allegedly locked in a car while the mother was shopping, recently went viral.
The New Zealand Herald was told the mother left a note on the bundled baby saying, ‘My mum’s in doing the shopping, call her if I need anything.’ The photo was taken outside of a Porirua Pak’nSave grocery store by another customer who saw the child. Other customers also noticed the baby as they entered the store to do a little shopping of their own,
Authorities also told the Herald they are not pursuing charges against the mother at this time. It would take a complaint and/or additional information before taking action.
