Pedestrian Killed On Skinker Near Forest Park

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A pedestrian was struck and killed Friday morning on Skinker Boulevard near Forest Park.

Police say the woman was in her 50s and was on her way to work. Her belongings could be seen in the street.

The man driving the car who struck her stopped and is being questioned by police.

Accident reconstruction crews are investigating.

Skinker has been closed in both directions.  The street is expected to remain closed until the afternoon.
