FOX2/News11 Reporter To Share Brothers Battle With Skin Cancer On “The Doctors”

(KPLR) – You’ll want to make sure to tune in to “The Doctors” Wednesday at 11:00 am.

FOX2 and News 11’s Shawndrea Thomas visited the show to share a personal story about her brother’s battle with skin cancer.  She told the show’s host that growing up in Arizona, they really weren’t out in the sun all that much.

Her healthy brother developed a melanoma on his toe, which then spread throughout his body.

She was also surprised to learn that a man of color could get skin cancer.
