Collinsville School Board To Cut Staff

(KPLR) – Monday night the Collinsville Board of Education decided to cut 28 staff and teacher from the districts payroll.  The district has been facing dropping revenues and has been looking for some time to make cut $2.4 million to balance its books.

The superintendent says the district is owed $3 million dollars and fears more cuts will be necessary for 2014-1015 school year.
