Bernthal – The Way It Oughta Be: Shopping Alarms

(KPLR) – It`s annoying if it happens to you.  I`m talking about shopping and sounding off an alarm.  

I don`t know if it`s ever happened to you but it`s happened to me.  I`ve walked right through the alarm detectors at a store with the alarm device still attached to my new purchase.

I usually don`t buy anything so expensive that it needs one of those alarms but this time I did.

Well, the cashier never took the alarm device off and guess what, it never worked.  I never knew about it until I got all the way home.

Now, I don`t know what to do.

I`m afraid to go back to the store to have them remove it, they will call me a thief.  And I don`t have the right tools at home to remove one of those alarms.

So maybe I`ll start a new fashion trend and just leave them on.  I`ve seen worse.

I just wish they would take the device off or make sure they work so I don`t find out about it until I get home.
