Dallas, TX (KPLR) A Texas apartment complex is requiring DNA samples from your dog in order to keep its grounds clean. The Chapparal property management group owns 12 complexes and sent letters to dog owners demanding they hand over DNA of their dogs or face eviction. The DNA swab sample is kept on file. When the complex finds doggie waste, they pick it up and send it off to a company that will determine which dog is responsible. It the owner doesn’t pay the fine or submit a sample, they risk termination of their lease.
