Nissan Recalls 2013 Models

(KTVI) – Stop your engines! Nissan has ordered a recall of five of its 2013 car models.

Wednesday’s announcement came after the company noticed a trend of warranty claims about defective airbag systems according to the LA Times. The list of models to be recalled are:

• Altima Sedan
• Sentra Compact Car
• Pathfinder Sport-Utility
• Infiniti JX35
• Leaf Electric Car

The recall is also includes Nissan Sentras. About 400 of the cars reportedly had fuel tanks that were not properly sealed and could potentially lead to dangerous leaks.

Nissan has not reported any injuries or accidents related to either defect.
