Elisabeth Hasselback Leaving “The View”?
(FOX News) – There are reports that long-time “The View” host Elisabeth Hasselback is leaving the show.
US Weekly reported Hasselback would not be returning for the 17th season. A show insider said she’s being dropped because she was too conservative for viewers.
The source said a recent poll showed people weren’t watching the show because Hasselback was “too extreme and right wing.”
Just days earlier, Joy Behar announced her departure from the show. Barbara Walters, the show’s main host and producer, says she will explain the move on Monday’s program.
