Miley Cyrus: ‘I Didn’t Call Off My Wedding’

(CNN) — Like Evan Rachel Wood before her, Miley Cyrus is denouncing Los Angeles via Twitter.

In the wake of recent reports that her fiancé Liam Hemsworth got a little too close to “Mad Men” actress January Jones at a pre-Oscar party, Cyrus is assuring fans that her nuptials are still on.

“I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn’t call off my wedding. Taking a break from social media. #draining” she tweeted.

Cyrus later wrote, “My new music is gonna shut everyone up … not discussing anything but my music from now on.”

In November, the “Can’t Be Tamed” singer told CNN that her fourth studio album is going to come as a surprise to some people.

“It’s a really different sound,” she said. “Not only just for me, but I think it’s something that radio needs right now.
