Bernthal – The Way It Oughta Be: Election Confidence

(KPLR) – How confident are you in the way we hold elections?
Something needs to be done to restore confidence in the way elections are held.

I don’t care if you’re a republican, a democrat or agnostic when it comes to politics, you should want the results to be accurate.

And that means finding willing and able election judges for every polling place.

I knew of one precinct years ago where the lights mysteriously went out as the ballots were about to be gathered.

And I don’t know how much I trust computer voting.  It seems like if groups like Anonymous can hack into the Federal Reserve, they could figure a way to rig an election.

I hope if you are able to become an election judge the next time around you will.

It’s no fun voting when you feel like it doesn’t count.
