Bernthal – The Way It Oughta Be: Short Traffic Lights

(KPLR) – We all have a least favorite traffic light.  I don`t know why but from time to time I will run into a traffic signal that just doesn`t make sense.

My co-workers have their patience tests daily with the left turn from ball drive into Page Avenue.

It could be the middle of the night – and no traffic in sight but we sit at that light for what seems like hours, I’m sure it`s more like 30 seconds – but it just doesn`t seem right.

I`d like to know what traffic lights frustrate you.  I recall a couple of others, one was the left turn from Kingshighway to Natural Bridge.

That was always a short one – much too short.

The new diverging diamond at Dorsett and 270 seems to have a short light for anyone continuing on Dorsett.

I know safety comes first – but common sense should be a close second.
