AAA Calls Soar During Winter Storm
ST. LOUIS, MO. (KPLR) – Triple A has seen its calls soar during the snow storm Thursday. The morning started slow, with the storm still bearing down the St. Louis area. But just after 10:30 am, the phone calls started to pick-up and once the storm hit with full force, calls soared.
As driving conditions worsen, with sleet, freezing rain and snow started to hit area roads, drivers began to slide off roads, stall on hills and go into ditches, that’s when AAA started to dispatch crews.
Right now AAA is playing a catch up game with all of the calls for service, but they expect to get to all of their calls as the storm winds down.
