St. Louis Rape Survivor Speaks Out On Ricki Lake

(KPLR) – Sexual violence is often a crime of no consequence for the rapist. The Ricki Lake Show is airing a two part series on sexual violence. It profiles four incredibly courageous women including St. Louian Joanie Stewart who is a member of a speaker’s bureau called Rainn.

Stewart was attacked in 1991, but it took 18 years for her to find justice. Stewart will be on the Ricki Lake Show, part two, tomorrow right here on KPLR 11 at 10a.m.
