Bunnies Attacking Cars Causing Thousands In Damage
DENVER, CO (CBS4)- Passengers parking at Denver International Airport may not know the cause of damage to their vehicles; but it is cute. Bunnies are being blamed for thousands of dollars in damage to vehicles parking at the airport. The rabbits are eating wires under the hood.
According to CBS 4 in Denver the Wildlife Service is eliminating at least 100 bunnies per month to combat the problem. But, the problem of bunny vehicle damage remains.
A spokesman for rental car company at the airport says that rabbit damage is a common problem. The suspects are easily identified by the fur and pellets left at the scene of the crime.
