Woman Struck and Killed in Jefferson County

(KTVI) – A woman was struck and killed early Thursday morning Jefferson County.

According to officials, the accident happened around 4:15 a.m. on northbound Highway 67 just north of Highway V in Valles Mines.  The woman was struck by a truck while walking on the side of the road.  That truck driver did call 911.

The woman was pronounced dead on the scene.
