BELLEVILLE, IL. (KPLR) – Two cold cases have been cracked in the Metro East using DNA evidence.
It was a childhood fight that helped lead to investigators to getting justice for one victim, more than two decades later.
The first case involved a murder of a 16-year-old from 1986, Nicole Willis, who was found beaten and raped in Centreville.
The other arrest was in connection with the stabbing death of 35-year-old Christine Foster.
