Pere Marquette To Host Folk Festival

GRAFTON, IL. (KPLR) – Pere Marquette will be playing host to a folk festival in March.  The festival will be held March 3rd, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The festival will feature a dance group, Thunder and Lightning Cloggers from the Appalachian Mountains.  Dance Discovery will also perform, showing off dance from the Louis and Clark Era  in full period dress.

Festival goers will also be treated to artisans, music, children activities, arts and crafts vendors and food for the 1800’s.

The festival is free and open to the public.
