(KPLR) - Dr. Sean Bailey of Sound Health in St. Louis is breaking new ground fighting chronic sinusitis. His invention is a new minimally invasive office procedure that uses a catheter and a high tech sinus balloon to open sinus pathways.

The procedure takes about 20 minutes under a local anesthetic and most patients experience immediate and dramatic pain relief and return to full normal activities within 48 hours.

Dr. Bailey is with his patient, Donald Achter, as they discuss the procedure and the effects of it.
