I’ve been reporting on violence in St. Louis for a long time.  At times you feel as though it will never stop.  So maybe it’s time to try something drastic.

I wonder if bringing back a Civil War era practice would work.  I’m talking about old fashioned duels.  Two guys with a beef going mono y mono.

If we let our violent prone men to publicly settle their scores, then no more innocent victims would die from a stray bullet.

And if the public could see the violence instead of allowing it to happen in a dark alley we might be more motivated to stop it.
