Real Life “Jaws” Off Hamptons
(EXAMINER) – A 16-foot, 3,456-pound Great White Shark has been sighted off the coast of the Hamptons in Massachusetts. The large shark has been named “Mary Lee”, by a Utah based nonprofit organization called OCEARCH. OCEARCH tagged the shark last September and has been monitoring its movements.
For some reason, the shark has stayed closed the Hamptons area, which may be due to the unusually warm waters for this time of year.
