Cadet Leader Arrested On Sexual Battery Allegations

WICHITA, KS – An 18-year-old Kansas military school cadet was arrested Friday on alleged sexual battery charges. The arrest comes after a continued investigation from authorities of the allegations.

According to the Associated Press, St. John’s Military Academy has relieved the cadet leader of his responsibilities and reassigned him to another company. St. John’s has been under investigation since last March, when 11 former cadets filed a lawsuit alleging that a culture of abuse existed at the academy.
