Cost Of First Class Mail Going Up

(KPLR) – The cost of sending something through the mail is going up this weekend.  A first class stamp is going up a penny to 46-cents.

A postcard jumps one cent to 33-cents.

The change takes effect Sunday.

The last stamp increase was one year ago this week, when the postal service increased the cost a penny.
