NASCAR Owner Pays 1.1 Million Price For 2014 Corvette Convertible
NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick’s just paid $1.1 million dollars for the new Corvette 2014 Corvette Stingray at auction. According to Road & Track this car is the first Stingray to come off of GM’s production lines. Many call the model the “Batmobile” because of its sleek profile.
Now, whether the car is worth that much is still up for debate. But, there are only seven first off the line corvettes ever produced. This is the first C7 model.
Proceeds from the auction go to Detroit’s College for Creative Studies.
