New York Gun Bill Assembly Vote

(CNN) — Lawmakers in New York’s Democratic-controlled Assembly approved a new set of gun regulations Tuesday intended to fortify the state’s assault weapons ban. The measure was approved by the GOP-controlled Senate on Monday and is expected to be signed into law by Gov. Andrew Cuomo soon.
