JEFFESON CITY, MO (KTVI) – Jefferson City is hopping Monday morning. It's inauguration day in Missouri. Governor Jay Nixon will be sworn in for a second term.
The swearing-in ceremonies began at 11:15am. Monday afternoon, there's a public meet-and-greet at the governor's mansion, then a barbecue reception at a Jefferson City hotel.
The inaugural ball will be held in the capitol rotunda Monday evening.
