(KPLR) – The Las Vegas Consumer Electronics show is winding down, but JB lamenting not having one of the new TV’s coming soon to the market.

The last television I bought was probably from 10 years ago.  I would love a new flat screen as big as this billboard but I just can’t afford it.

The annual consumer electronics show in Las Vegas is a depressing event for me.

Just look at all the cool stuff consumer groups are showing off.

They even have a mind controlled helicopter.

How about a giant spider robot you can take for a ride.

New gaming consoles and pc’s that look more like tablets are all on display.

Even though it’s depressing to realize I can’t afford any of this cool stuff, it’s uplifting to know creative minds are coming up with some amazing new technology.

So instead of dreaming about owning these devices … Maybe we should encourage our kids to dream about how to make these devices.

Unless they study the math and science behind modern technology, they probably won’t have a job that pays enough to buy any of those devices.

I’m JB and That’s The Way It Oughta Be.
