Two Shot at CA High School; One Person In Custody
TAFT, CALIFORNIA (KTVI) - Two people were reportedly shot at a high school in Taft, California Thursday morning. KABC reports the shooting happened around 9:00 a.m. at Taft High School. The shooter was in custody by 9:20 a.m.
The shooting happened outside the school, according to news reports. Students were evacuated to the football field and parents were notified to pick up their children. The sheriff’s department deputies reportedly went room by room securing the building.
It is unclear whether those shot were students or staff. Their conditions are unknown.
