“Django Unchained” Action Figures Causing Controversy

St. Louis, MO (KPLR) A controversy is brewing over action figures for a hit movie. The National Entertainment Collectibles Association is coming out with “Django Unchained” action figures. The company is also behind collectibles for “Hunger Games” and “Rocky”. They partnered with the company to produce the figures. Many Amazon customers feel like the figures trivialize slavery. The company and filmmaker have not commented on the issue.
